David began his insurance career in 1998 with a third party administrator handling auto claims on sub-standard policies. Within a year he was promoted to Supervisor. David increased his claims handling experience by joining Cambridge Integrated Services Group, where he handled complex claims litigation for large self insured entities involving general liability, products liability and garage keepers liability. He also handled construction defect claims for California Guarantee Association and CNA Insurance. David has completed liberal arts courses at Mt. San Antonio College and Paralegal Certification at Fullerton College, Fullerton, CA.

Telpher began his claims career in 1980 at American International Adjustment Company as the Litigation Manager. He has extensive experience in handling automobile bodily injury and property damage, general liability, medical malpractice, intellectual property and construction defect claims. Prior to joining GHC in 2006, Telpher handled construction defect claims at Crawford Technical Services. Telpher earned his AA at Los Angeles Trade Tech and his BA at California State, Dominguez.

Barbara is an experienced claims handler with over 20 years experience handling both personal and commercial line claims. She started her career with GAB as a Multi-Line Field Adjuster. Over the years Barbara has worked for insurance carriers and third party administrators. Her previous employers include CNA Insurance, AIG Insurance, Crawford Technical Services and Carl Warren Company. She worked as a Unit Manager for both CNA and for Carl Warren. Barbara specializes in claims with complex coverage issues or major bodily injury. She attended California State University, Fullerton and joined GHC in January 2008. Her speciality is construction defect claims.

Michael began his career as a Multi-Line Adjuster at Liberty Mutual Insurance Company in 1979. He has extensive experience in handling high exposure complex litigation involving construction defect, general liability, products, auto, and property damage claims. Michael's background and experience includes 10 years of employment in the Construction Defect Unit of ACE USA National. He holds a BS in Finance from California State University, Long Beach.

Pat Kirwan began working for George Hills Company in 2008. She worked for Fireman's Fund from 1972 to 1992 as a Litigation Manager. She also worked as a Litgation Manager for Great American, Mitsui Marine, and Mitsui Sumitomo. She is a graduate of Lindenwood College in St. Charles, MO where she had a double major, English and Math, and a minor in Education. She holds SCLA, AIC, and FCLA designations.

Bobbie began her insurance carrier in 1986 with Crum & Forster in Chicago handling general liability claims for the states of Illinois, Michigan, Missouri and Wisconsin. Prior to joining Crum & Forster Bobbie had worked as a legal secretary and office manager. In 1998, while working for Golden Eagle Insurance Company, Bobbie started handling construction defect claims. Over the years, she developed her investigative and negotiation skills, continually keeping up with new case law and trends. Shortly after joining Carl Warren & Company in 2003 she was promoted to the position of Supervisor / Manager over the construction defect unit. In addition to her regular workload she handled various special projects for clients and assisted in the supervision of the support staff. Bobbie joined GHC in April of 2007 as a Senior Claims Adjuster.

Richard (Rick) joined the GHC Claims Adjuster team in San Bernardino, CA in 2010. He began his career in 1988 as a Claims Adjuster at Travelers Insurance where he quickly progressed to handling complex coverage and high exposure claims. During his 13 years at Travelers he was promoted to Senior Technical Specialist and then Construction Defect Unit Manager. Later he worked for Carl Warren & Company as a Claims Supervisor and Senior Claims Adjuster in Construction Defect. He is highly experienced in Construction Defect, Personal and Commercial lines, 1st and 3rd party PD and BI; and Personal and Commercial lines Liability / Coverage. Rick completed his AA at Grossmont College. In addition he holds Charter Property Casualty Underwriter status (1-6 credits).

Steve has over 15 years claims handling experience in both commercial and personal lines claims. He began his career as a Claims Adjuster with Aetna Insurance, first in the Los Angeles office and then in the Southwest Regional Claims Office located in Riverside, CA. As a Senior Claims Adjuster with Aetna, Steve handled a variety of multi-line claims for both commercial and personal lines insurance. Steve then moved onto a Senior Claims Adjuster position with Crawford Technical Services where he handled general liability, auto, property and inland marine claims for various insurance carrier clients. Steve graduated from California State University, Fullerton with a BA degree in Journalism / Communications.

Debbie began her TPA career as a Technical Assistant in 1995 with Gallagher Bassett Services, Inc. In 2001, she moved to Southern California and began with Carl Warren & Company as a Support Specialist and later became a Recovery Specialist handling construction defect deductible recoveries and liability subrogation. At GHC Debbie handles deductible recoveries as well as indemnity and expense contribution recoveries.

Sal has over 18 years of multi-line claims handling experience. During his career he has handled both personal and commercial lines claims including auto, property, general liability, products liability, garage keepers liability, workers compensation and construction defect claims. Over the past eight years Sal has primarily handled construction defect claims. During his career Sal has worked for Travelers Insurance Company, Allstate Insurance Company, CAN Financial, Crawford Technical Services and Dynamic Claims Services. Sal has a BA in Economics from California State University, Fullerton, and a MBA from the University of La Verne, La Verne.

Esther began her career with Farmers Insurance in 1977 initially handling automobile and general liability claims before moving onto managing medical malpractice claims throughout the US. Esther remained with Farmers for over 20 years and worked in the Human Resources Department in addition to handling claims. After leaving Farmers, Esther accepted a position with Crawford Technical Services handling general liability and construction defect claims. She joined GHC in October of 2006. Esther earned her BA at the University of California, San Diego.

Craig began his claims career in 1972 at GAB as a Multi-Line Adjuster. He was later appointed to the position of Branch Manager. He joined Ohio Casualty Group in 1978 as a resident adjuster. His experience with the handling of construction defect cases began while at Allstate Commercial Insurance in Brea, CA in 1987. Craig joined CNA Insurance Companies in 1989 at which time he furthered his handling of the management of construction defect cases. In 2000 he was promoted to the position of Assistant Vice President of Commercial Lines Claims. Craig returned to Southern California in 2003 as a Construction Defect General Adjuster with the St. Paul Insurance Company. Following the merger of St. Paul and Travelers Insurance Company, Craig was appointed to the position of Western Regional Director of Construction Defect Major Cases. In 2005 Craig joined Crawford Technical Services as the Branch Manager of an office that was dedicated to a construction defect program. Craig joined GHC as Construction Defect Program Manager in July 2008. He is a graduate of the University of South Florida, Tampa, Florida.
