Garey began his claims career in 1978 as a Resident Claim Representative at Cal-Farm Insurance Company. He inspected and estimated damaged structures, appraised auto physical damage, handled medical bills and reports, and settled liability claims. Prior to joining GHC in 2002, Garey was a Principal at Lake & Mendocino County Adjusters where he gained extensive adjusting and managerial experience. Currently, Garey applies his expansive knowledge by conducting complex field investigations for first and third party auto, home, commercial and personal injury claims. Garey earned his AA degree from Mendocino College.
