"Built to last, GHC continues to move into the future with our customer needs in mind."
Michael J. Kielty, BS, ARM, GHC Chief Executive Officer
Since GHC opened its doors 56 years ago our firm has successfully combined outstanding customer service with superior industry knowledge. Today we are meeting the needs of more than 300 diverse clients and remain committed to preserving and enhancing our long-standing reputation for competence, service, and integrity. Founded in 1954 by George F. Hills, his commitment to client satisfaction, professionalism and integrity was carried on by his son, George "Bud" Hills, for more than two decades, and today by GHC's Chief Executive Officer Michael J. Kielty, ARM and GHC's President John E. Chaquica, CPA, MBA, ARM.
In 1998 GHC began using Valley Oaks System Technology (iVOS) to support its best practice services. The Windows-based technology has increased the firm's service capacity, enhanced service workflow efficiencies and custom reporting capabilities. Used widely in the public sector, the alignment of iVOS technology with GHC’s service is a value-add for GHC clients wanting real-time access to decision-making data, metrics, and trends.
GHC began showing its best practice strengths in Construction Defect Claims Administration in 2004 and continues to grow its practice in this space. The firm started its best practice JPA Management Practice (ORA) in 2009. Building these customer-driven service areas at GHC reflects the firm's ongoing desire and commitment to meet the evolving needs of its client base.
